Luckner’s Auctioneers Online has everything from Victorian brooches to Danish Modern design sideboards, Edwardian silver tea pots to Art Deco glassware. Visit www.luckners.com and browse through an array of unique and affordable objects for you and your home, including furniture, paintings, silver, ceramics, glass and jewellery.

Luckner’s is the UK’s first online auction house – combining the convenience of the Internet with the service of a traditional auction house. Company founders, Simon & Gaby Neubert-Luckner, started the business after recognizing a gap in the British market for mid-range art and antiques available for auction online. Luckner’s meets the demands of the modern consumer and provides a user-friendly auction service for everyone; from the experienced dealer to the first-time bidder.

Buying? Bid and buy online. Transport for purchased lots can be arranged. Everything on our website is in our central London showroom; open 6 days a week for viewing and valuations.

Selling? Luckner’s in-house experts will value, catalogue, photograph and put your lots on auction within 24hours. Auctions run continuously, on the company’s own website, offering new lots for sale every day.

With Luckner's, buying at auction couldn't be any easier. There is a good mix of lots, always something interesting and unusual. I've made a few purchases there and have enjoyed the well laid-out site, excellent pictures, hassle-free process and friendly service.

Luckners is definitly at the top of my 'Favorites' folder!

I have bought a 50s modernist Danish table, a Famous Five-style hamper, an antique sewing box full of coloured threads and buttons, and two beatiful beach + elmwood chairs from Luckners.

All of them were absolute bargains. There are really detailed photos of all the stuff on the website - so I knew exactly what I was buying and the staff are friendly and well informed.

A real discovery - and now my favourite place to buy an unusual present for myself or anyone else!

I happened upon Luckners when I was going to a SCP Sale in the arches near Tower Bridge and I had the feeling I was soon going in trouble! Had I found a new source of unique antique and vintage furnishings and assorted home objects in central London with REASONABLE prices? The very clean, well organised auction hall/office was chock full of interesting, varied and reasonably priced items, all well marked - mostly of Scandinavian origin. Just what I needed – more vintage gems to fill my home!

When I got home I got online and quickly perused every item on the site and started bidding and winning! The website is well laid out, descriptions of items very accurate, pictures highly detailed, ensuring to show any flaws to the items, so there are no surprises when you see the item in the flesh. Add to this the staff have been highly knowledgeable of each item I ever had queries on, and very friendly and warm – a joy to deal with.

To date I have only been a consumer of goods from the site, purchasing items from sofas to diamonds and a few in between. Each transaction was simple and seamless from bidding to delivery (which Luckners is able to arrange). I am not sure how selling via Luckners goes – but I imagine I will soon start selling some of my excess items through the site as well.

Being a person who is always looking for a bargain, their new “Make an Offer” scheme is very attractive to me. There are some even better deals to be had if one is patient and persistent using this method.

All in all, I do not have a negative thing to even think about this gem of an auction site found in the flesh on the South Bank. In this day of outrageous prices, over hyped offers and terrible customer service – Luckners stands head and shoulders above the fray. Enjoy it before everyone hears of it and the great deals are fewer and fewer, or eBay buys them and the personal level of service will be lost in the corporate shuffle!
