Serendipity Gems was established post-tsunami, primarily to help communities devastated by this event. It is creates employment for the jewellers whose livelihoods were destroyed whilst bringing beautiful jewellery to Europe at very attractive prices.

Each piece of jewellery is hand-crafted from 925 sterling silver with a rhodium finish and the finest quality gemstones. Serendipity Gems has had considerable success in the corporate sector having sales at city banks including Deutshe Bank, UBS and HSBC. To date there have been four sales at Vogue House and in addition to the frequent private sales, viewings by appointment can be arranged. The collection is constantly increasing and the website shows only a small selection. Prices range from £30 to £250.

Take a moment to browse the gorgeous website and get in touch with any enquiries. Serendipity Gems are happy to take commissions. Orders in good condition can be returned within 7 days for a full refund.

Double pleasure

The earrings are beautiful, my wife really loves them and the service I got from Serendipity was excellent, I was always kept informed of how my order was progressing and never had any concerns at all about the order being successfully completed.
It was a double pleasure because we went to Sri Lanka on our honeymoon 8 years ago, and thought it was quite the most wonderful place we had ever visited, not just the scenery but the people, who were so welcoming and friendly. One of the places we stayed at was Galle, so we were so upset to see the devastation to people's lives after the tsunami. We will go back one day, this time taking our young son.

Colour and style

I contacted Serendipity Gems by email and went along to a sale they were having in Chelsea and I was so delighted and glad that I had! The stones were as big, colourful and radiant as on the website, the styles were gorgeous and the hardest thing for me was trying not to buy too much as I'm a bit of a magpie when it comes to jewellery.

Most of my jewellery has been bought in Bond Street or from Theo Fennell so I do recognise quality and although the settings are mainly silver I was offered the option of having the items made up in gold or platinum and using different stones and settings. I think the price makes the pieces great presents (that look far more generous than they are!) and can not recommend them enough. The added bonus is that it also raises money for such a good cause.
