Match Recruitment was established by two experienced recruitment professionals: Henrietta Barker and Katy Bartlett who were united in their desire to move away from the trappings of volume recruitment and focus on providing a bespoke, personal service.

I used Match as a candidate and am delighted to say that I found both Henrietta and Katy to be utterly charming, sincere, honest and a real pleasure to deal with. On top of that, they would contact me when they had a job they considered suitable as opposed to other companies who would try to palm any old thing off to me.
I was thrilled to hear they had started up together and I believe the industry is a much, much better place with their presence.

It’s a pleasure to work with the team at Match. They manage to achieve a relaxed but professional approach, and are friendly without being ‘fake / pushy’ (which consultants in so many agencies tend to be). Of course the acid test for any agency is whether then can source appropriate candidates in a timely fashion for a reasonable fee, and Match ticks all these boxes. I trust their judgement: if they say “you should really see this candidate” I will, because I know they won’t waste my time.

Having seen all sides of recruitment agencies – as a client, a candidate and as an employee of one of the bigger agencies, Match was a breath of fresh air. Katy and Hen were always very easy to talk to, more than happy to help and even though Hen was my consultant Katy always knew exactly what was going on with my recruitment. Hen was constantly updating me with any news she had, even if she didn’t have any she’d let me know so I always knew exactly where I stood. Unfortunately I made the mistake of registering with a couple of the "bigger" names in the recruitment industry and subsequently my details were filed and forgotten about. Unlike other agencies, the consultants at MATCH (Henrietta and Katie)actually do what they say, they follow through with their promises to help find the job that was right for me, rather than becoming just another C.V. on their books.
The registration process was handled with care, thoughtfulness and discretion...it was actually quite fun!!. My "likes and dislikes" were listened to and taken into consideration before contacting me with any possible
roles. This meant that neither my time nor the agency's was wasted unnecessarily. Henrietta is very communicative and frequently called to discuss various openings that had come in that she felt I might be suited to.
MATCH are excellent with giving quick feedback from the company after interviews. MATCH completely exceeded my expectations.
