WHO: German designer and jewellery enthusiast, Thomas Sabo whose business started in Bavaria over 20 years ago – ably assisted by Creative Director Susanne Kölbli. WHAT: High quality silver and cubic zirconia gems and charms which are great for travelling (when you want statement pieces but don't want to take priceless, luxury jewels). Fabulous engagement ring stand-ins (that do resemble serious rocks!), beautiful bridal pieces and the unique Charm Club. There's also a unisex collection aimed at the chaps. Thomas Sabo jewellery is 'on trend' and moves in line with the fashion industry, launching two collections a year to coincide with the seasons.

WHY: With a new store launching on the King's Road this week, it's a great opportunity to browse the entire collection and grab some fabulously good value but expensive-looking rings.
